Capturem nickel-functionalized membranes for his-tagged purification are a revolutionary solution for recombinant protein purification that effortlessly outperforms conventional methods. Novel nylon membranes have been assembled into spin columns and filtration devices, creating no-waiting, room-temperature workflows (just 5–30 minutes from loading a sample through elution) compatible with both mammalian and bacterial cells. Exceptional performance is consistent under a wide range of research settings, including denaturing conditions, in the presence of additives (e.g., BME, EDTA, DTT, glycerol, TCEP, etc.), and when performing tandem purification of his-tagged proteins.
