RNA-seq for Ultra-low Input
Examining gene expression of the cell population
RNA-seq can be used to understand the complex biology of gene regulation and assist in understanding gene expression from ultra-low, high-quality total RNA or intact cells (both bulk or single cell). Our core SMART and LNA technologies have been applied to a set of tools to perform either full-length or 3' differential expression RNA-seq using an oligo(dT) priming approach. This approach is beneficial for a number of different applications, including, but not limited to:
- Examining gene expression of the cell population
- Providing information about isoforms, splice variants, and SNPs
- SMART-Seq v4 Ultra Low Input RNA Kit for Sequencing
Generates high-quality cDNA from ultra-low amounts of total RNA, or directly from 1–1,000 intact cells
- SMART-Seq v4 3’ DE Kit
End-capture method that focuses the majority of sequencing data on the 3' ends of mRNA transcripts from single cells
