Cre Recombinase
Deletions, insertions, translocations, and inversions of genes
Cre-mediated recombination has been widely used to carry out deletions, insertions, translocations, and inversions of genes at specific sites in the genome. We offer products to facilitate AAV- or gesicle-based delivery of Cre recombinase for Cre-lox recombination-based experiments. In addition, we offer Cre RLPs (RNA lentiviral particles), biologically active Cre mRNA packaged in nonintegrating, virus-like particles, which enable transient Cre expression for in vitro or in vivo applications.
- AAV2-Cre Recombinase
Preparation of serotype 2 adeno-associated virus (AAV2) particles to deliver a Cre recombinase gene cassette to mammalian cells
- Cre Recombinase RLPs
Obtain a rapid burst of Cre expression in mammalian cells with footprint-free delivery of Cre mRNA in nonintegrating, virus-like particles
- Cre Recombinase Gesicles
Deliver Cre recombinase protein to mammalian cells in the absence of nucleic acids (i.e., no plasmid or virus is required)
