Tris-glycine (TG) buffer is used for native (non-denaturing) polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of proteins. This powder is for preparing tris-glycine buffer.
Applications
Migration buffer for native (non-denaturing) polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of protein
Preparation of transfer buffer for Western blotting (Tris-glycine/20% methanol)
One package (for 500 ml) contains: 3.0 g Tris (hydroxymethly) aminomethane 14.4 g Glycine
Storage
Store powder at room temperature.
Note
Tris-Glycine Powder (Cat. #T902) is manufactured by Roman Industries Co., Ltd.
Preparation
Transfer the contents of the pouch to a flask or beaker. Add 300 ml of distilled water or deionized water and stir the solution for a few minutes. Adjust the volume to 1,000 ml, and stir until completely dissolved.
