The PicoPLEX WGA Kit uses a single-tube protocol developed specifically for the reproducible amplification of genomic DNA (gDNA) starting from 1–10 cells or equivalent picogram quantities of isolated gDNA. Cell lysis and whole-genome preamplification are followed by amplification with very low background to yield over 2 µg of product in under 3 hours. This is the kit of choice for assays that need the most accurate and reproducible measurement of CNV. This product contains reagents for 50 reactions.
Overview
Reproducible results from single cells (or 6–50 pg of DNA)
Superior reproducibility of allele representation
Easy to use and automate
Unambiguous results at all resolutions (e.g., microarray and PCR)
Applications
CNV analysis using NGS, oligonucleotide aCGH, BAC aCGH, and qPCR
Target enrichment or amplicon enrichment for mutation detection
SNP genotyping
Suitable Inputs
Mammalian cells (1–10 cells)
Bacterial cells (1,000–10,000 cells)
Isolated DNA (6–50 pg of human DNA)
Sorted chromosomes
Intact or fragmented, single- or double-stranded DNA
