pmPlum Vector
pmPlum encodes mPlum, a mutant derived from the tetrameric Discosoma sp. red fluorescent protein, DsRed. In this vector, the mPlum coding sequence is flanked by MCS regions, making it easy to excise the gene for use in other cloning applications. pmPlum is primarily intended to serve as a source of mPlum cDNA.
Overview
- Far-red fluorescent protein for in vivo imaging
- mPlum excitation and emission maxima: 590 and 649 nm, respectively
- See which antibodies can be use to detect mPlum on Western blot or ICC
Applications
- In vivo imaging
- Fusions
- Protein localization studies
