This vector is designed for monitoring the activation of Activator Protein 1 (AP1) by phorbol esters (PMA). The AP1(PMA) element responds specifically to PMA treatment for studying activation of the protein kinase C (PKC) pathway. When transfected into mammalian cells, the vector can be used for studying effects of activation of this and related signal transduction pathways. The vector contains the gene encoding secreted alkaline phosphatase (SEAP) as the reporter.
Signal transduction kits are available for in vivo studies of signal transduction—from signaling cascades to gene transcription

Pathway profiling vectors
Pathway profiling vectors. These vectors contain one of two promoters: the entire TATA-like region (TAL) from the thymidine kinase promoter or just its TATA box (TA).
Pathway profiling systems with SEAP or luciferase reporters
