PCR primers for amplifying and sequencing cDNA inserts in GAL4 Activation Domain (AD) Vectors by either long-distance PCR (LD PCR) or conventional PCR (when the expected insert size is less than 2–3 kb). This Amplimer Set can be used with libraries in the following GAL4 AD Vectors: pGAD10, pGAD424, pGAD GL, pGAD GH, pACT, λACT, pACT2, and λACT2.

Use colony PCR to quickly amplify and screen your positive candidate clones
Use colony PCR to quickly amplify and screen your positive candidate clones. Matchmaker Insert Check PCR Mix 2 was used to amplify inserts from 15 randomly selected colonies from candidate clones obtained with our Matchmaker Gold System (Lanes 2–16). The results allowed the clones to be quickly sorted for further analysis. Lane 1: No template control. Lane M1: 1 kb ladder. Lane M2: 100 bp ladder.
