Lenti-X Tet-On 3G Inducible Expression System (with ZsGreen1)
Lenti-X Tet-On 3G Inducible Expression System (with ZsGreen1)
The Lenti-X Tet-On 3G Inducible Expression System (with ZsGreen1) is a tetracycline-inducible lentiviral gene expression system that allows you to produce high titers of recombinant, VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviruses for the purpose of establishing a tightly inducible expression system in both dividing and non-dividing cell types. pLVX-TRE3G-ZsGreen1 contains an internal ribosome entry site (IRES), allowing the simultaneous induced expression of a gene of interest and a green fluorescent protein marker from the same RNA transcript. The pLVX-Tet3G Vector expresses the Tet-On 3G transactivator protein from a CMV promoter. The kit also includes a complete fourth generation lentiviral packaging system, Lenti-X Packaging Single Shots (VSV-G).
Overview
- Low basal expression, high maximal expression, highly controllable
- Lenti-X Packaging Single Shots (VSV-G), included with each system, generate high titers with a very high safety profile
- TRE3G promoter provides very tight control of transcription
- Tet-One formats are also available
Applications
- Tetracycline-inducible expression in the widest range of hard-to-transfect cell types.
