The LA PCR Genome DNA Set is designed for use as controls in long-range PCR and enables the optimization of PCR conditions for a wide variety of templates. The set includes templates that are highly purified, high molecular weight genomic DNA from human and E. coli, and corresponding primers.

PCR products obtained using the LA PCR Genome Set
PCR products obtained using the LA PCR Genome Set. Takara LA Taq DNA Polymerase was used to amplify products from either a 17.5 kb human genomic target (lane 2) or a 20 kb E. coli genomic target (lane 3). Lanes 1 and 4 both contain a molecular weight marker (λ-Hind III digest).
