Capturem Protein G Miniprep Columns consist of single-use, disposable columns for simple, rapid purification of antibodies that yield 50–100 μg of purified antibody per column, depending upon the sample type, species, and antibody isotype. These miniprep columns are suitable for purification of antibodies from animal sera, ascites fluid, cell culture media, and other sources. Each column can hold up to 850 µl of sample and requires a minimum elution volume of 200 µl.
Overview
Fast and convenient: room-temperature protocol, complete in under 15 minutes, without incubation
High purity: small column bed volumes trap fewer contaminants and allow large-volume washes
High quality: short residence times reduce the possibility of aggregation or loss of activity
Antibody purification workflow for Capturem Protein A or G 96-well plates. Each well can be loaded with up to 850 µl of a diluted sample (antibody sample diluted from 1:1 to 1:20 with buffer). Following binding, the membrane is then washed and the bound antibiody eluted with the appropriate buffers. Note: Protocol time varies for each format. Check user manuals for specifics on protocol times.
