Monoclonal antibody (Clone 9E10) raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues 408-439 of the human p62-c-Myc protein. The antibody recognizes an epitope located within residues 410–419. This antibody is suitable for immunoprecipitation of c-myc tagged fusion proteins from cell lysates, ELISA, immunocytochemistry of microinjected or transfected cells, and localization of c-myc tagged proteins.
Overview
6xhis monoclonal antibody: detects as little as 1 ng of 6xhis-tagged proteins
6xhis monoclonal antibody-HRP conjugate: has high sensitivity and detection does not require a 2° antibody
6xHN polyclonal antibody: detects the 6xHN tag and can be used for Western blotting and ELISA
Co-immunoprecipitation detection using c-Myc monoclonal antibody
Co-immunoprecipitation detection using c-Myc monoclonal antibody. Max protein tagged with a GFP variant and Myc protein tagged with a c-Myc tag were co-expressed in HEK 293 cells. Immunoprecipitations were performed with anti-GFP antibody (Lane 2) or anti-Myc antibody (Lane 4) and then detected on a Western blot using anti-Myc antibody. Lane 2 shows that Myc can be pulled down by Max. Lane 4 shows that c-Myc monoclonal antibody can effectively pull down Myc. Lanes 1 and 3 represent mock transfected lysates.
