Alpha 1,2-L-Fucosidase
Intended usage: Specific cleavage of α1,2-L-fucoside bonds. This enzyme releases L-fucose from 22-α-L-fucosyl lactose (Fucα1-2Galβ1-4Glc) and from porcine gastric mucin oligosaccharides. It also releases L-fucose from a biantennary N-acetyllactosamin type sugar chain with α1,6-fucoside bond (PA-Sugar Chain 009; Cat. #4109), but at a much lower reaction rate.
Applications
- Cleavage of the alpha 1,2 fucoside bond during N-glycan degradation
- Liberation of L-fucose from 22-alpha-L-fucosyl lactose (Fuc alpha1-2 Gal beta1-4 Glc) and from porcine gastric mucin oligosaccharides
