The AAVpro 293T Cell Line is a subclone of the transformed human embryonic kidney cell line HEK 293, which is highly transfectable and supports high levels of viral protein expression. The cell line also constitutively expresses the simian virus 40 (SV40) large T antigen. When combined with the AAVpro Helper Free System (Cat. No. 6230), these cells can produce high titers of recombinant adeno-associated virus (AAV).
Overview
293T clone selected for high-titer AAV production
Provides high titers when combined with our AAVpro helper-free systems
The AAVpro 293T Cell Line produces high titers of adenoassociated virus (AAV)
The AAVpro 293T Cell Line produces high titers of adenoassociated virus (AAV). AAV2-pseudotyped virus was generated using the AAVpro Helper Free System (AAV2) (Cat. # 6230) with three different packaging cell lines. The AAVpro 293T Cell Line produced greater or equivalent titers to the commonly used 293T/17 clone, and greater titers than AAV-293, a subclone of HEK 293 selected for AAV production.
