This product contains 10X PBS and Tween20 for preparing the wash solution and Stop Solution for stopping the peroxidase reaction, which are used together with TaKaRa Bio’ s ELISA Kits. Although the Stop Solution is not sulfuric acid (H2SO4) -based, it can be used like 1N H2SO4. Use the prepared wash solution and Stop Solution according to the user manual for each ELISA Kit.

Applications:

High quality, reliable stock solutions for preparing wash buffers for ELISA or immunoassay protocols.
Use the Stop Solution directly for halting the color development reaction after addition of the TMB substrate in HRP-based ELISA protocols.

10X PBS	50 ml x 5
Tween 20	3 ml
Stop Solution	60 ml

Storage:

Room temperature

Note: Precipitate may form if 10X PBS is stored at a low temperature. If this occurs, dissolve precipitates completely by incubating in a warm water bath before use.

Buffer preparation:

Wash Buffer

PBS wash buffer: Dilute 50 ml of 10X PBS by adding 450 ml of distilled water to make 1X PBS and mix well.
PBST (PBS + 0.1 Tween 20) wash buffer: Dilute 50 ml of 10X PBS by adding 450 ml of distilled water to make 1X PBS and mix well. Add 500 µl Tween 20 to 500 ml 1X PBS and mix well.
