Each

The Retro-X Integration Site Analysis Kit contains all the reagents needed for PCR-based identification of retroviral vector integration sites in transduced cell clones. The first step is the construction of pools of adaptor-ligated genomic DNA fragments, referred to as “libraries”. These libraries can then be used for identifying genomic DNA sequences flanking the 5′ end of the integrated provirus using long-distance PCR.

Overview

  • Simple determination of retrovirus integration sites using GenomeWalker technology
  • Determine the precise site of integration of MMLV- and MSCV-based retroviruses
  • Compatible with most commercially available retrovirus vectors
  • Complete system including all the necessary enzymes, primers, controls, PCR kit, genomic DNA purification kit, and gel purification kit
  • Lentiviral version also available for detecting integration sites for lentiviruses

The gel shows a typical result, the amplified bands can be purified and sequenced.
