The DmrA Monoclonal Antibody recognizes DmrA-tagged fusion proteins expressed using any iDimerize Inducible Heterodimer System. The isotype of this mouse monoclonal antibody is IgG1 Kappa. The antibodies are also able to detect fusions created using ARGENT regulation systems: DmrA is identical to wild type FKBP12, DmrB is identical to the F36V mutant of FKBP12, DmrC is identical to the T82L mutant of FRB.

Overview

  • The DmrB and DmrA domains are highly homologous, so the antibodies cross-react with each others’ domains
  • The anti-DmrC antibody does not cross-react with the other domains
  • Detection of DmrB domains used for iDimerize Homodimer Systems
  • Detection of DmrA and DmrC domains used for iDimerize Heterodimer Systems
  • DmrB antibody can be used for detection of DmrD domains used for the Reverse Dimerization Systems
  • DmrA is identical to wild type FKBP12
  • DmrB is identical to the F36V mutant of FKBP12
  • DmrC is identical to the T82L mutant of FRB

Western blot detection of a DmrA-tagged protein using the DmrA Monoclonal Antibody (Cat. No. 635089)

Western blot detection of a DmrA-tagged protein using the DmrA Monoclonal Antibody (Cat. No. 635089). HEK 293 cells were transfected with a plasmid expressing a DmrA-tagged CherryPicker fusion protein. The cell lysate was resolved by SDS-PAGE and subjected to Western blot analysis with the DmrA Monoclonal Antibody. A predominant band was detected in transfected HEK 293 cells (Lane 2), but no signal was detected in the untransfected control cell lysate (Lane 1).
