Bicistronic expression vector for the simultaneous translation of two genes of interest from the same mRNA transcript. Each gene should be inserted into one of two MCSs located on either side of the ECMV internal ribosomal entry site (IRES). The entire cassette is driven by the CMV promoter. The vector also contains the neomycin antibiotic resistance gene for selection with G418 in mammalian cells.
