This marker consists of >14 double-stranded DNA fragments ranging from 2.5 kb to >35 kb in multiples of 2.5 kb. The 10-kb band (a 10.0 kb/9.8 kb ‘doublet’) is brighter than the other fragments and serves as a visible reference indicator; all other fragments appear with equal intensity on the gel.
